Guanacaste
Guanacaste, a province on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast, is a land of everlasting summer and home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. With crystal-blue waters and silky, smooth sand, Guanacaste attracts tourists from all over the world. It has a more arid climate than other parts of Costa Rica, making it ideal for enjoying water sports such as surfing, world-class sport fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Tropical and mountainous forests overflow with lush vegetation and exotic wildlife. Nature lovers can visit many famous parks, such as Santa Rosa National Park.
